However, the No-MRI RFID laundry tags is difficult to be appplied for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams, it might not only mislead the results of image artefacts, but also might harm the patients and the MRI equipments. In addition, the No-MRI RFID Laundry tag will cause false alarm frequently when it passes the Needle Detection test before medical textile washing.

Only the MR conditional RFID laundry tag can guarantees that the tag is suitable for being used in MRI equipment, both in terms of patient safety and diagnosis integrity. This meas that a patient wearing textile with SPOTAG’ RFID laundry tags can be safety scanned in an MR system at 1.5 or 3 Tesla.
